第一眼看上去,我還不知道是我第一個愛上的模特兒--carol trentini呢!我想她改變了不少,也進步了不少.我常覺得她是一個好的catwalk model,但不是一個editorial model.她的身材,肢體,動作是十分專業的,我只是覺得她的表情不夠到位.(雖然我是她的粉絲)但這次elle的大片中,我看到她的眼郎,表情有了很大的進步,有一種很美的柔和感.這種A字形連身裙和她的腳顯得更長了吧.我想普通人穿也有這樣的效果,把腳成為了焦點吧!覺得短的連身裙真是治矮病的最好良藥.特別是簡單的設計,把整個人的比例也調好一些.

My story and Elle's with Carol Trentini started in September 2005 - my birthday month, which I considered as a gift! It was the first edition dedicated to her. By then, she was already Anna Wintour's darling. As for me, I was an aspiring fashion editor. I'm a Virgo, so I was scared that something could go wrong. Guess what happened? At my first photoshoot, lensed by JR Duran, a little problem with the equipment obliged us to interrupt the session for two hours. On one side, there was me managing the panic. On the other's, there was a quiet and impassive Carol listening to her IPod. She was 18 by then, she seemed to be a shy girl, who was still getting used to notoriety. I barely knew that she was already obsessed about punctuality. ProfessionalismThe following day, another shooting. A moment that still amazes me is one with Carol sat on a rocky mountain, on a dry surface, and the sun burning our heads. Carol remained strong, until we got the perfect shot! If something bothered her, she didn't let us know. Not even a word, or a complaint. She followed the photographer's direction. Professionalism at its extreme. I was dazzled by her simplicity, competency and sweetness. We've done a few covers, always in a rush, enjoying each time she landed at São Paulo. Carol walked for the biggest brands, such as Valentino, Chanel, Dior and Louis Vuitton. She is also one of the favorite models of illustrious photographers like Steven Meisel, Irving Penn and David Sims. Her list of international works is long and her schedule is quite busy, therefore we enjoy so much when she comes here.A model, many coversIn 2009, Carol starred an Elle issue again. We did two memorable spreads. She came from New York for the shooting. We hadn't met for a while, and I encoutered a much more different Carol. She was still very professional, but instead of a girl, a woman much more mature and secure of herself. Talkative and full of ideas, she participated actively in the pictures, giving tips. I had changed too: I was already a experienced editor and I was pregnant. Back to present: September 2010 (again, my birthday!), the phone rings, it was Anderson (Carol's mix of brother, father and agent, they're really close), asking Elle if we didn't want to so another edition with her. We were on, of course! And better: we went to New York to join her for one of the shoots. Nothing's perfect, so we had a little problem: the taxi driver that was supposed to pick Carol up couldn't speak English and took the wrong way. She loves punctuality, arrived a hour late and stressed. Then Anderson explained to me: she's obsessed about the "right". And then everything made sense to me.Carol's at intimacy We moved on, took stunning pictures that only a model like Carol can offer. At the end of the day, we ended up laughing and playing with the dogs that passed by the neighboorhood (she owns a Pomeranian dog called Madalena). We talked about her life in NY, her new apartment and how she doesn't like to party. She really prefers staying home and cooking for friends. When I said I wanted to write something about her, she answered me: "Of course. We've known each other for a longtime. You already know how I am!". I smiled and was sure that, despite all the problems we had, the "right" triumphed, and once again, we produced a beautiful edition.
